To check the financial data of a Polish company:
Download the financial statements of an entity you are interested in from the official website of the Ministry of Justice.
Read the financial statements using our free viewer.
This way you can learn about the financial condition of any enterprise registered in the National Court Register (KRS) that applies the provisions of the Polish Accounting Act. Financial data of entities applying the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will also be available in the future.
From March 15, 2018, entities registered in the National Court Register (KRS) are required to submit their financial statements only in an electronic form. The National Court Register makes the submitted financial statements available through the website of the Ministry of Justice - Repository of Financial Documents (RDF), available at https://ekrs.ms.gov.pl/rdf/pd/search_df. Anyone can search and download financial documents of an entity entered in the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register free of charge. To search for a financial document, you only need to know the KRS number of the entity.
The most important document published in the Repository of Financial Documents is undoubtedly the financial statement. The annual report on the unit's activities is attached to the annual financial statement, if there is a legal obligation to prepare it.
In the case of entities applying national accounting principles specified in the Polish Accounting Act, financial statements are prepared in XML format in a logical structure specified by the Ministry of Finance.
The XML format is used to represent data in a structured way that is easy for computer analysis. The purpose of introducing reporting in machine-readable XML format is to increase possibilities of analyzing and comparing financial data.
The disadvantage of XML is that it is not easy for humans to understand.
To make it easier to read the financial statements, we have provided a free financial statements reader. With it, you can open an e-report easily and for free, regardless of whether it was saved in the XML or XAdES extension.
We are constantly adding new features to help your understanding of the financial condition of a given entity. Financial statements of companies applying full reporting in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act allow, for example, to verify the correctness of the statements and to check the debt, profitability, financial liquidity and the cash cycle ratios.
The browser provided by us also allows you to read financial statements saved in the XAdES extension. The files in this extension are in fact XML files with an electronic signature in accordance with the requirements of EU law and the standards / standards of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
